“ Called in whilst passing on the canal and 3 of us had a lovely meal and the staff were great. 3 starters, 3 mains and 1 sweet came to £73 which we thought was excellent for what we had. ”
“ Lovely surroundings, great service and even better food. I recently moored close to Barchetta restaurant and tried it out. They have an early bird special of 2 courses for £16 which is great value. The food was absolutely amazing and I ate here 4 times in a week because of that. Very extensive menu. Lovely canalside location. Well kept peroni on draught and very strong cocktails. I cannot fault this place and I'll definitely be eating here again. ”
“ Our party of 5 and two dogs had food here one evening. Excellent food, wine and service. Dogs allowed outside only. We found it to be very cold sitting in the outside area, and had to return to our boats to get coats! Some form of outside heating would have been good. As the outside space was the only area where dogs were allowed, they found the cobble stones quite uncomfortable to lie on. ”

They were in the process of getting their alcohol license renewed so we had to take our own alcohol but they were happy to serve it without corking charge. Excellent.
